From the 21st to the 22nd of September The Research-Training Centre “Testing and Diagnostics” has successfully passed a recertification audit on the conformity to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001, new version of the year 2008. The audit was conducted by the main auditor of the independent international body for the management systems certification of the DIGAR International Ltd. (Switzerland), Parkany Elisabeth. A full conformity of the management system and the organization quality was confirmed during the audit. The auditor noted that the complex of the quality management systems of the Research-Training centre “Testing and Diagnostics” allows to achieve the efficient management of the company. The personnel expertise and timely QMS updating in compliance with the auditor’s recommendations and market requirements allows to reveal a positive dynamics into the QMS improvement that has a positive effect on the quality of the services of the Research-Training centre “Testing and Diagnostics”.

During the exhibition “Welding and cutting 2009” held in Essen, N.N.Volkova, the director of the RTC “Testing and Diagnostics”, and A.V.Mullin, head of the personnel certification body, have conducted the negotiations regarding the further collaboration with Mr, Ralf Holshtein, a head of the training centre DGZfP (German association for non-destructive testing). A number of events were scheduled for a mutually beneficial collaboration. In particular, there was reached an agreement in relation to the DGZfP representatives visit of the RTC “Testing and Diagnostics” during the European conference on non-destructive testing in Moscow in June 2010 and about the internship of the RTC “Testing and Diagnostics” personnel in one of the DGZfP training centres.

On 18th of September N.N. Volkova and A.V.Mullin have visited the headquarters of TGA (German accreditation society) and met the TGA head Mr. Thomas Facklam. During the negotiations the parties discussed problems of accreditation in Russia and Europe, the importance of the common approach to the accreditation of the certification bodies and the ways of the common collaboration. Mr. Facklam confirmed that all the certificates issued earlier under the auspices of TGA remain valid till their expiration date. TGA acknowledges accreditation of the British body UKAS, where currently RTC “Testing and Diagnostics” has its accreditation, in accordance to the agreement on the common acknowledgment of the EA accreditation bodies.

In compliance with the document ОР-03.120.00-КТН-071-09 approved by the PLC “AK” “Transneft”, the specialists on non-destructive testing have to pass the additional attestation in order have an access to the works on the objects of the PLC “AK” “Transneft”. NOUDO “RTS” Testing and Diagnostics” was accepted as the authorized independent body with the right to conduct such additional attestation. We propose all the organizations, that certify personnel in the first time or already have certified their personnel, to contact RTC “Testing and Diagnostics” on the issues of the additional personnel certification on the objects of the PLC “AK “Transneft”. From the 15th to the 17th of September N.N. Volkova, the director of the RTC “Testing and Diagnostics”, and the head of the personnel certification body, A.V.Mullin, participated into the international exhibition “Welding and Cutting – 2009”. Once in 4 years the leading international specialists in welding get together in the city of Essen, Germany, in order to demonstrate their achievements in the science of welding, production, training and personnel certification. More than 100 firms from 80 countries of the world took part in the exhibition. Russia was represented by the Welding Alliance of St. Petersburg and by a number of other companies under the aegis of the Russian Welding Society (RWS). RTC “Testing and Diagnostics” was representing Russian Authorised national body for qualification and certification of welding personnel. Within the bounds of the events were held the working meetings with the heads of the International Welding Institute, representatives of Gasprom and of the other Russian and international organizations.
